NFHS WRESTLING WEIGHT CLASS OPTIONS
ASAA is reviewing options proposed by the NFHS to revise the wrestling weight classes. ASAA will poll coaches during the state tournaments, discuss the options at upcoming regional meetings, and take action (recommending one of the options to NFHS) during the February 2010 Board of Directors meeting. WRESTLING STATE TOURNAMENT SITES CHOSEN
Upon the vote of the ASAA Board of Directors at their February Meeting, the 2010 State 4A Wrestling Championships will be hosted by Colony High School at the Curtis Menard Sports Complex on December 10-11.  No site has been chosen beyond that date pending the next calendar adoption. Meanwhile, the 123A State Wrestlers will travel to Nikiski High School for 2010, 2011, and 2012.  This will be the third time that this event has been held on the Kenai Peninsula.
