123A/4A WRESTLING WEIGH-INS & COMPETITIONS FOR OVERLAPPING SEASONS
ASAA will use the following procedure for the 123A wrestling the 4A wrestling weigh-ins and competitions during the overlapping season. This is similar to the previous years when the 123A and 4A wrestling seasons overlapped.
Same Classification Wrestling: Must follow the NFHS/ASAA rules and guidelines – No changes or modification beyond the ASAA Handbook are to be used.
Mixed Classification Wrestling: Must use the Growth Allowance for the season that started first. When 123A and 4A compete at the same event, all wrestlers will be able to use the 123A classification growth allowance policy (one pound on the last Monday in October).
