CERIFICATION INFORMATION
Officials Certification is only for one School Year and all certifications expire at the end of each school year. It is important and in the best interest of all interested officials to become certified as soon as possible each year.
Included with your Arbiter Registration:
• NFHS Certification and Liability Insurance
• Background Check (Valid for 3 years)
• Rule Book (1) and any additional information that may be available through the NFHS & ASAA (Mailed to the address verified in your registration.)
• Sports Officials Application 2023-2024 Season – Online (Credit Card Payment Only)
The Certification Test through Arbiter will be available online approximately a month prior to the ASAA start date of the activity. After receiving a passing score of 75% or higher, ASAA will mail a NFHS Certification Card.
In order to be CONSIDERED for STATE TOURNAMENTS Officials MUST be certified within one month of the applicable season. (i.e. one month from the listed date of the first practice on the ASAA Calendar).
