OFFICIALS CERTIFICATION
Officials Certification is only for one School Year and all certifications expire at the end of each school year. It is important and in the best interest of all interested officials to become certified as soon as possible each year.
To complete the certification process one may submit the online application (at the top of this page) or fax or mail the application and the appropriate certification fees to ASAA. The test and answer sheet as well as appropriate rule book will then be sent to the applicant to certify and return to ASAA for scoring. If passed (75 or higher) a copy of the answer sheet and Certification Card will be mailed. NOTE: Tests are not released prior to the NFHS release date.
For new officials contact your local association or ASAA and an application will be mailed to you.
In order to be CONSIDERED for STATE TOURNAMENTS Officials MUST be certified by the beginning of the fourth week of the applicable season. (i.e. Four weeks from the listed date of the first contest on the ASAA Calendar).
